Blocked drains are what the average plumber is known for.

Blocked drains are an unavoidable issue with most homes in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town.

The most common culprit for blocked drains are usually tree roots.

There are lots of large mature trees with their roots running deep into the ground. Furthermore the houses in the southern suburbs are often older houses or sometime heritage houses that are more than a hundred years old. The below ground drainage pipes are often old and worn out. In many cases houses still have the old earthenware fired clay underground sewerage pipes. Ideally these pipes should be replaced, however most clients cannot afford the high cost to replace all the underground drainage pipes.

Therefore most clients opt rather to have their sewerage pipes serviced regularly or opt to call their regular plumber every time they have a blocked drain.

We at Wilton plumbing specialize in blocked drains, we have invested in the latest machinery to unblock drains.
